Yesterday Donald M. Grant Publishers mailed flyers accepting advance orders for Stephen King’s The Little Sisters of Eluria.
The books have 13 full color plates and many black and white illustrations by acclaimed fantasy artist Michael Whelan. The hardcover will be released in 2 editions, an Artist’s Edition and a Deluxe Edition.
The Artist’s Edition will be comprised of 4,000 numbered copies signed by Michael Whelan which will be issued in a foil stamped slipcase. The retail price is $95.00 plus shipping. The publisher is reserving the first 1,500 numbered copies for customers who hold a matching number of The Dark Tower VII.
Michael Whelan sketched drawings on 30-50 random signature pages when he was signing them. If you receive one of these be aware that the value of these books are probably in excess of $1,000. The Artist’s Edition can be pre-ordered HERE.
There are 1,250 numbered copies of the Deluxe Edition signed by both Stephen King and Michael Whelan which will be issued in a foil stamped clamshell tray case. It will have a different binding material than the Artist Edition and there will be a ribbon bound in. The retail price is $300.
As usual there is a much greater demand for the Limited Editions than copies available, so in keeping with Donald Grant’s policy of supporting our long time customers, the signed and numbered Deluxe Edition can only be ordered by those who have a signed and numbered Dark Tower VII. After initial requests have been satisfied, the publisher will host a lottery drawing for the remaining available copies. To enter the lottery, please send a postcard which reads:
“Please put me in the lottery to purchase a copy of the signed & numbered Deluxe The Little Sisters of Eluria. I have # ____ of The Dark Tower VII.” Include your name, address, phone number, and if you wish, email address. Mail the post card to:
