It’s all quiet on the game front save for a few minor releases. The only thing really noteworthy comes in the form of downloadable content (DLC) this week.
The Zombie Island of Dr. Ned is the big release. It’s a DLC add-on to Borderlands, the wasteland-scavenging, first-person shooter that came out of nowhere a few weeks ago and took a lot of people by surprise as one of the best multiplayer games of the season.
Zombie Island adds… err… umm… a zombie-infested isle of the damned to the planet of Pandora, but you probably already knew that. I, for one, will be charting a course to the isle on Tuesday. I loved Borderlands and am currently on my 2nd play-through. See review here:
I don’t care what anyone says, everything is better when you add a healthy sprinkling of zombies to the mix.
All in all there is a grand total of 19 games. Considering the past onslaught leading up to Black Friday, the very fact that I don’t have to drop a full sixty bucks or even get out of my pajamas to play the game I want to may make this the best week yet.
