The Logitech MK700 Wireless Keyboard & Mouse

If comfort is what you seek, then look no further than the Logitech MK700 Wireless Keyboard & Mouse ($99.99).  I have had the privilege of using this desktop duo for the last week, and it has been a sheer pleasure.

There are a multitude of features that make the MK700 unique.  Let’s start with the keyboard.  There is a built in cushioned palm rest as well as two sets of height adjustments on the bottom of the keyboard.  This is a great feature, especially for people who have a keyboard slide out tray, and need a low profile keyboard.  In addition, my favorite feature is that the keys are actually concave shaped with rounded edges.  Your fingers literally sink into each key stroke comfortably.  The one touch keys make accessing the internet, email, music very convenient.  The device also has a built in LCD  that displays your battery level.  The MK700 has a built in power management system that extends your battery life for up to three-years for the keyboard battery life and 12-months for the mouse battery life. This feature practically eliminates the need to replace batteries.

The wireless laser mouse has a sleek ergonomic design and fits comfortably.  The mouse has two scrolling modes: hyper-fast scrolling allows you to scan through long documents effortlessly or you can switch to click-to-click scrolling for navigating slides, lists or images. My favorite feature of the mouse was its ability to simply communicate flawlessly with my pc.  This is no small feat, as I have a wireless USB hub that has wreaked havoc among many other wireless mice that I have tried over the past few months.  This is the first mouse that I have used that did not have any delays or dropouts.

Installing the MK700 was a breeze. I simply plugged the wireless receiver into my USB port and the hardware was ready to use. If you are looking for a desktop change, you will be pleasantly surprised by the MK700. (Reviewed by Meredith Fire-Hess)
