Rolling Stones Update Lips Logo For 50th Anniversary

The Rolling Stones have unveiled an updated version of their famed 41-year-old lips and tongue logo, one of the best rock ‘n’ roll logo in existence, for their 50th anniversary.

The new updated logo, redone by Shepard Fairey, features the words “Fifty Years” and the numerals 50 woven inside the their name.

The original logo, designed by John Pasche, was introduced back in 1971. Mick Jagger was responsible for discovering Pasche, then a student at the Royal College of Art. The logo was first used on the inner sleeve of the “Sticky Fingers” album.
