Hugh Jackman Reveals Wolverine Teaser Image

Following its debut during 20th Century’s Fox feature film presentation at Comic-Con International, early teaser art for the upcoming Untitled Wolverine Sequel has now officially been released by none other than Wolverine himself, Hugh Jackman. The Academy Award nominee tweeted the design along with the request that fans tweet him back with the hashtag #OneLastTime and explain what they want to see from his final big screen appearance as the Marvel Comics character.

“My last time putting on the claws,” Jackman reiterates in his post. “What do you want to see happen? 50 words or less. I’ll read as many as I can.”

Although it’s far from confirmed, Jackman hinted during the panel earlier this month that Mark Millar and Steven McNiven’s popular “Old Man Logan” storyline may very well factor into the new film. To be directed by James Mangold (who, in addition to helming The Wolverine, worked with Jackman on Kate & Leopold), the new film is penned by David James Kelly. It will arrive in theaters March 3, 2017, following the 2016 X-Men universe films Deadpool, X-Men: Apocalypse and Gambit, arriving February 15, May 27 and October 7, respectively.

New Photo of The Dark Knight From Batman v Superman Debuts

Something you may have noticed in the second trailer for Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice was a scene where Batman was wearing what appears to be a soldier disguise. The set photographer for the film, Clay Enos, has revealed a new promo shot of Ben Affleck’s dark knight in that exact outfit.

Fearing the actions of a god-like Super Hero left unchecked, Gotham City’s own formidable, forceful vigilante takes on Metropolis’s most revered, modern-day savior, while the world wrestles with what sort of hero it really needs. And with Batman and Superman at war with one another, a new threat quickly arises, putting mankind in greater danger than it’s ever known before.

Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice stars Henry Cavill in the role of Clark Kent/Superman, and Ben Affleck as Bruce Wayne/Batman. The film also stars Gal Gadot as Diana Prince/Wonder Woman, with Amy Adams, Laurence Fishburne and Diane Lane returning from Man of Steel, Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor, Jeremy Irons as Alfred, and Holly Hunter in a role newly created for the film. Jason Momoa will also be making an appearance as Aquaman.

Directed by Zack Snyder, written by Chris Terrio, from a screenplay by David S. Goyer, the film is produced by Charles Roven and Deborah Snyder with Benjamin Melniker, Michael E. Uslan, Wesley Coller, David S. Goyer and Geoff Johns serving as executive producers. Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice is set to open worldwide on March 25, 2016.

Batman: The Killing Joke Coming As An Animated Movie

01-cover

Following the release of Justice League: Gods and Monsters, the next DC Entertainment animated feature will be Batman: The Killing Joke.

Due out in 2016, the story will be an adaptation of the controversial and acclaimed original graphic novel by Alan Moore and Brian Bolland. In the comics, The Joker escapes Arkham, shoots and paralyzes Barbara Gordon in order to terrorize her father, Gotham City Police Commissioner Jim Gordon.

There’s no word yet on casting — the film itself was just announced by Bruce Timm at the Comic Con International: San Diego panel for Justice League: Gods and Monsters — but veteran Joker actor Mark Hamill has said in the past that he would un-retire the character for an adaptation of The Killing Joke.

Other animated films announced for 2016 – Batman: Bad Blood featuring Batwoman, and Justice League vs Titans.
