The second wave of Disney Infinity figures are set to begin releasing in October and continue through part of 2014.
The new additions include Sorcerer Mickey from Fantasia; Woody, Jessie and Buzz Lightyear from Toy Story; Wreck-It Ralph and Vanellope from Wreck-It Ralph; Phineas and Agent P from Phineas and Ferb; Jack Skellington from The Nightmare Before Christmas; Rapunzel from Tangled; and Anna and Elsa from Frozen, a new Disney film set for release Nov. 27.
The second infantry joins such previously announced characters as Jack Sparrow, Hector Barbossa and Davy Jones from Pirates of the Caribbean; Mike and Sulley from Monsters University; Lightning McQueen, Mater and Holley Shiftwell from Cars; Mr. Incredible, Violet and Dash from The Incredibles; and Lone Ranger and Tonto from The Lone Ranger.
Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment announces the Man of Steel game for iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, as well as Android smartphones and tablets, will be available beginning June 14, 2013 on the App Store, Google Play and Amazon Appstore for Android. Based on DC Comics’ iconic Superman character and inspired by the Warner Bros. Pictures and Legendary Pictures feature film “Man of Steel,” the game is a 3D-brawler that lets players combat General Zod and his invading Kryptonian forces on both ground and air in a fast-paced mobile adventure.
Developed by Phosphor Games Studio, Man of Steel provides players with two diverse game modes. Featuring custom, console-quality cinematic sequences, Story Mode transports players directly to Smallville, the Kent Farm and other familiar settings to battle General Zod and save Earth from its destruction. In Survival Mode, fans see how long they can last against a progressively more difficult swarm of Zod’s forces. Players can share their scores with friends to see who the ultimate Man of Steel is, as well as upgrade their skills and unlock new suits by winning battles and earning experience points along the way.

Batman: Arkham Origins features an expanded Gotham City and introduces an original prequel storyline occurring several years before the events of Batman: Arkham Asylum and Batman: Arkham City. Taking place before the rise of Gotham City’s most dangerous villains and assassins, the game showcases a young, raw, unrefined Batman as he faces a defining moment in his early career as a crime fighter that sets his path to becoming the Dark Knight. As the story unfolds, witness identities being formed and key relationships being forged.

Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment and TT Games today announced the release of LEGO Batman: DC Super Heroes for the iPhone, iPad and iPod touch, available now on the App Store. Delivering action-adventure gameplay to touchscreen devices, this latest caper is based on LEGO Batman 2: DC Super Heroes, the game which released to critical acclaim in June 2012 and was one of the best-selling videogames of the year.

Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment and DC Entertainment announced Batman: Arkham Origins and Batman: Arkham Origins Blackgate, the next installments of the blockbuster Batman: Arkham video game franchise. Batman: Arkham Origins will be available for the Xbox 360 video game and entertainment system from Microsoft, PlayStation3 system, the Wii U system, and Windows PC. Batman: Arkham Origins Blackgate will be available for the Nintendo 3DS handheld system, and PlayStation Vita handheld entertainment system. Both titles are scheduled to release worldwide Oct. 25, 2013.

Today, Disney Interactive unveiled Cars as the fourth play set in Disney Infinity. Disney Infinity is the company’s most ambitious gaming initiative ever, and the Cars play set adds to the previously-announced play sets of The Incredibles, Monsters University and Pirates of the Caribbean.
The Cars play set allows gamers to take on the role of Lightning McQueen, Mater, Holley Shiftwell and Francesco Bernoulli and enter the virtual world of Radiator Springs, where they will prepare the town for a big international racing event.
Key highlights include:
- Racing and Customization: players will be able to race through town on full sized tracks and pull off amazing, gravity defying feats in a no-holds-barred stunt park. Additionally, players can customize the town, exploring the outskirts of the city and towing all types of vehicles to make way for tourists.
- Play Set: The Cars play set adds driving/racing play mechanics and track pieces to the Toy Box allowing players to create all-new racing challenges, build and customize tracks and much more.
- Toy Box mode: Lightning, Mater, Holley and Francesco are able to interact with all of the previously revealed characters from The Incredibles, Monsters University and Pirates of the Caribbean.
Disney Infinity for the Xbox 360, PS3, Wii and WiiU is currently scheduled for release this June.
