eBoy Posters

eBoy was founded by Steffen Sauerteig, Svend Smital and Kai Vermehr. They create re-usable pixel objects and then use them to build complex artwork.

Their illustrations have been made into posters, shirts, souvenirs, and even displayed in gallery exhibitions. They were founded on May 2, 1997 and are based in Berlin, Germany. They express their art as an extension of their childhood. Their influences come from pop culture, supermarkets, toy commercials, LEGO, computer games, the news and magazines.

eBoy has worked with named brands and companies such as Coca-Cola, MTV, VH1, Adidas, and Honda.

Two of my favorite images from eBoy are their New York poster and Buildings poster which can be ordered HERE for around $25 (US). Please click on the images below for a larger view.

  1. eBoy art is fantastic and keeps getting better. Their newest release is Baltimore Docks and they have another artwork “Assembler” that currently just available in their Pixorama book release but should come out in poster form in the spring.

If you live in the US, there’s an eBoy tribute site that has most of their posters and other items available: http://www.design-legends.com
