To Friends, Family and Readers,

Thank you all for your kind support in 2008.  I truly appreciate you reading my blog and sharing the link with your friends.  My initial goal with The Fire Wire was to have a single online location that I could invite friends and family to that featured articles on things that I was interested in or thought they might find interesting.  It saved me time on sending multiple e-mails.  Fortunately, readership grew and the blog became a little more eclectic.  I hope you enjoy reading it as much as I enjoy writing it!  If you have any suggestions for the upcoming year or just want to say hi, please comment below.

I am very excited for 2009 as our first child; a daughter will be born in the Spring.  We cannot wait to welcome our little girl into the world.
