Pasta Carbo-Nara

Domino’s Pizza introduced its new line of BreadBowl Pastas Monday. The pizza delivery chain is now offering individually portioned pastas in a bread bowl priced from $4.99 to $6.99. The product line includes Italian sausage marinara, chicken carbonara, three cheese macaroni-and-cheese, pasta primavera and a build-your-own pasta. The new pastas are served in a hand-formed bread bowl that is cooked simultaneously with the pasta, an innovation said to appeal to those who may be the lone vote against having pizza for dinner or those looking for something to eat for lunch. The new line was tested in California in November and December before rolling them out nationally. The new pasta offerings come after rival Pizza Hut launched its line of Tusacani pastas last April.
