Robert Rodriguez is set to relaunch the Predator franchise for 20th Century Fox, Variety reports. The Sin City director has written a screenplay, called Predators, that revives the alien-hunting character originally played by Arnold Schwarzenegger in 1987. Rodriguez is also co-directing Machete, a feature based on the hilarious faux-trailer from 2007’s Grindhouse. The indie project stars Danny Trejo as the titular bad-ass and is set to start shooting in Austin in June. (Thanks for the tip Don)
