Entertainment One and author Stephen King are teaming up to develop and produce a television series entitled ‘Haven’ based on his bestselling novella ‘The Colorado Kid’.
E1 chief executive Darren Throop said: “E1 is building recognition as a leading producer and international distributor of quality entertainment.
“‘Haven’ is another example of E1 Television’s ability to attract the best creative partners and leading North American broadcast networks.
“This development comes on top of a number of recent television successes including high-profile series such as ‘Hung’ (broadcasting on US network HBO), ‘The Bridge’ (being produced for US network CBS and Canadian CTV) and ‘Copper’ (being produced for US network ABC and Canadian Canwest).”
E1 Television will produce and handle the worldwide distribution rights for the series of 13, one-hour episodes.
