It’s a really bad week for games unless you like licensed movie titles… which are usually crap. Normally the more platforms a movie game is released for, the worse it is. It does not bode well that James Cameron’s Avatar is being released over five platforms this week. I wont pass judgment… yet… but I think it’s pretty safe to say that if I have to play a game set on a planet named Pandora, my time would be better spent on Borderlands.
Then again there’s always Rogue Warrior, the one-time action novel-turned true life game about Navy SEALS. It stars the most bad-ass seal of the bunch, Dick Marcinko. Wait–.who? Ok, I guess Hollywood isn’t the only industry to have officially run out of ideas.
