The tech world is a buzz with word that Apple has secured the Yerba Buena Center for the Arts in San Francisco for a press event beginning on Jan. 26.
Last week, The Financial Times reported the rumored reservation at the YBCA, the same spot Steve Jobs used to introduce new iPods in September.
Yesterday, a Fox News source confirmed the event, saying that the announcement will focus on the mobility space. All signs point to the new tablet, already the one of the year’s most anticipated releases.
Earlier this month, Apple Insider reported that production on the tablets would begin in February – featuring a 10.1-inch multi-touch LCD display – and launch in March or April. We’ll have to wait and see.
