Gillette Fusion ProGlide

The new Gillette Fusion ProGlide ($TBA) improves on its predecessor in other ways. The blades have been re-engineered to offer thinner, finer edges, and join a new blade stabilizer, streamlined comfort guard, a larger Lubrastrip, an enhanced precision trimmer, a larger, more comfortable handle, and, exclusively on the Power model, a new microcomb that helps guide hairs to the blade, all resulting in a closer, more comfortable shave. Look for the sleek razor to hit shelves in June.

  1. More hype from Gillette, while their prices for Fusion blades continue to escalate, $3.45 per blade; and they are made in China. What gives Gillette?! Guess people really are that stupid!

  2. Hah, I stopped using Gillette when I bought the Fusion power model. I had the Mach 3 before and loved it. With the Fusion, I found that the shave just was not cutting it for me anymore, I’m not sure what it was, probably had to do with the blade design.

Anyways, I’m using a good old double edge razor (just one blade, no multiple blade garbage) along with the oldschool soaps and creams and it works beautifully. I’m young so I never used them before, but it’s easy and the shave you get is smooth.
