New Video Game Releases: April 26th – April 29th, 2010

This week offers something for everyone. Super Street Fighter IV is probably the biggest release of the week.  Now you’re probably thinking, “Don’t I already own Street Fighter IV?”  Yes.  Yes, you do.  But with more characters, more moves, faster combos, and all around improved on-line functionality, get ready to buy it all over again.

Dead to Rights: Retribution is the latest entry for the series and should scratch any action-fan’s itch.  Yes, rogue cop Jack Slade is back for revenge, again.   This is his first next-gen outing.  As a plus, I hear that the dog is completely controllable this time around.

On the download side of things, old-school Nintendo Entertainment System armchair-quarterbacks’ will be ecstatic that Tecmo Bowl Throwback is available on Wednesday.  And if anyone cares, Dante’s Inferno gets a “Trials of St. Lucia” add-on on Thursday.
