The New York Pizza Burger ($12.99) is a 9-and-a-half-inch wide burger made with four Whopper patties topped with pepperoni, mozzarella cheese, marinara sauce, and Tuscan pesto sauce.
Burger King Vice President John Schaufelberger said the NY Pizza Burger is a tribute to the city that also “demonstrates the type of menu offerings our guests can expect.” Schaufelberger said the Whopper Bar acts as an “innovation lab” for Burger King to pilot new menu items.
The 2,520 calorie concoction will be available exclusively at the New York City Whopper Bar starting in September to fulfill that longtime desire for New Yorkers to finally find a good pizza pie.
