The Elan Soulra ($180) is an iPod and iPhone compatible speaker system that offers a high efficiency solar panel located on top for charging the docked device or for refreshing the rechargeable lithium-ion battery. Designed for outdoor use, the splash-proof, rugged rubberized aluminum body ensures that the speaker system can withstand abuse.
The Soulra includes full range speakers, an auxiliary input and bass boost. A battery charge indicator allows you to see the battery level so you know when to put it back in the sun or plug it in for a quick charge. A remote control is included for full control and convenience.
