Universal Home Video has announced 1-disc DVD, 2-disc DVD, Blu-ray/DVD Combo, and 3D Blu-ray/DVD Combo releases of Despicable Me for December 14th. Extras on the 1-disc DVD will include commentary with directors Chris Renaud and Pierre Coffin, 3 featurettes (“The World of Despicable Me”, “Despicable Beats”, “A Global Effort”), and a Gru’s Rocket Builder game. The 2-disc DVD and Blu-ray releases will include all that, plus 3 all-new mini-movies (“Home Makeover”, “Orientation Day” and “Banana”), a Voices of Despicable Me featurette, a Super Silly Fun Land game, and a digital copy of the film. The Blu-ray releases will also include additional behind-the-scenes footage and cast/filmmaker interviews via “Gru-Control”, and BD-Live features.
