The Stanley Kubrick Limited Edition Collection ($150) is slated for Blu-ray release on May 31. The video transfers and AV specs will be exactly the same as for the existing BD releases. As for the new titles, they will both come with DTS-HD Master Audio tracks (mono for Lolita and 5.1 for Barry Lyndon).
The 10-disc set contains nine of the director’s films: Spartacus, Lolita, Dr. Strangelove, 2001: A Space Odyssey, A Clockwork Orange: 40th Anniversary Edition, Barry Lyndon, The Shining, Full Metal Jacket and Eyes Wide Shut. This set is the first time that Barry Lyndon and Lolita will be available on Blu-ray—all the other titles can be purchased individually on BD. The set includes hardback digibook packaging with 40 pages highlighting Kubrick’s films.
