Former child stars Jerry O’Connell, Corey Feldman and Wil Wheaton reunited with co-star Richard Dreyfus (back left) and director Rob Reiner (back right) for the 25th anniversary of the 1986 film “Stand By Me” in L.A. on Wednesday. The classic film was based on the Stephen King novella, “The Body” from the collection, “Different Seasons”.
I am a huge fan of River too!! And Stand by me is my ultimate favorite film!
I am not a real film critic, I’m just a film lover (and a geek, of course!) and most of the time my response to a film is an emotional one: if it makes me laugh or cry or think then it means that it worked on me; but if it makes me laugh and cry and think, then there is something more to it too!
Basically I adore this film!
It is a real little gem , a small masterpiece, dare_I-say, that works because of its charming and honest simplicity. A rue undeniable classic, a nostalgic look at the way we were, in a time of innocence when friendship really meant something and when the most important question was “What’s Goofy?“
This Blu-Ray is most most welcome!!!
