Fast-food Outlets Adding Unusual Drinks For Summer

This summer, McDonald’s, 7-Eleven, Sonic and other establishments will introduce new unusual drinks, hoping to attract more customers to the fast-food industry’s most profitable menu item.

Among them:

– Starting in June, 7-Eleven will be selling dual chamber Slurpee cups, a special valve and two straws will be incorporated to allow you to drink one or two Slurpee flavors at a time.

– In May, McDonald’s is rolling out McCafe Frozen Strawberry Lemonade.

– Dairy Queen has already launched Lemonade Chillers, in regular and strawberry.

– Sonic has plans in May for a shake dubbed Double Stuff Oreo Blast. The ice cream inside is made with Oreo cream filling.

– Arby’s rolls out a Jamocha Oreo Shake in May.

– Later this month, Jack in the Box will bring back its blackberry shake.

– In May, Dunkin’ Donuts will roll out the first Mountain Dew Coolatta, a frozen slush drink.

– Starbucks is bringing back its Mocha Coconut Frappuccino on May 3rd for a limited time.

– In mid-June, Cold Stone Creamery will bring out its Cake ‘n Shake, made with cake-batter ice cream, milk and yellow cake pieces.

– In May, KFC will become the first fast-food chain to sell no-calorie Pepsi Max.
