Stephen King’s new short story, “Under the Weather” (written just in the past month or two) will be included in the U.S. paperback edition and as a new e-book edition of Full Dark, No Stars which will be released on May 24, 2011. Under the Weather is approximately 6,000 words, 23 manuscript pages and 16 pages in the final paperback.
Just Great; as a Constant Reader, I am rewarded for getting ‘Full Dark, No Stars’ as soon as possible by missing out on an extra short story thrown in later.
I dont have it yet, and without spoiling it… Is there a “good” reason for this story to be included in this edition?
Is it sort of related to the other King stories in Full Dark No Stars?
I have not read it yet and I’m not sure if it’s related to the other 4 stories. I really enjoyed Full Dark, No Stars but I’m not a fan of marketing schemes to get consumers to purchase additional copies of the original item just to get an “extra” something!
This story fit in perfectly with the book. Although it is the shortest story in the book the plot kept up with the other stories. I loved this book and I definitely loved the story Under the Weather. Awesome job Mr. King
I agree with you Jennifer, it fit perfectly with the other stories.
I wish it would’ve been expanded on though!
I’m a huge Stephen King fan. But hate that I have to buy something I already have to get a new story
I just read Under the Weather it was great. I wish there had been more to it.
I haven’t read an entire book in almost 10 years. This was the first book in a long time that kept my attention. Finished it in less than a week (that’s with working 8 hours a day too). Good reading
