One of my favorite poster artists is Tom Whalen. His Steamboat Willie print proudly hangs in my office and always garners praise. Now Tom has paid homage to my favorite author, Stephen King by creating this wonderful new signed and numbered print entitled “Room 237”.
The Shining-inspired print features elements from the King novel and Kubrick film. Whalen released “Room 237” at the recent Los Angeles Crazy 4 Cult art show and a few posters are still available HERE for $50.
A nice touch is the barely visible typing. Tom Whalen’s “Room 237″ print measures 16.9″ x 22.5” and is limited to an edition of 80.
