Universal scored a big hit with Despicable Me and they immediately rushed a sequel into development after the animated film opened #1 at the box office.
Despicable Me 2 has set July 3, 2013 for a release date and even though that’s far away, the marketing has begun. Here is the first promo poster for the movie and it proclaims “More Minions. More Despicable.”
