Next year, Warner Home Entertainment and DC Universe will bring Justice League: Doom to Blu-ray. Inspired by comic book author Mark Waid’s Tower of Babel storyline, this animated adventure watches as crazed super-villain Vandal Savage steals Batman’s secret plan to defeat a Justice League gone rogue. With the superheroes’ individual weaknesses in his possession, Savage forms the Legion of Doom and begins hunting the League.
Warner’s Blu-ray/DVD/UltraViolet combo pack presents the film in a 1.78:1 aspect ratio. Further technical specifications are still unknown, though Warner has confirmed the disc will have a number of bonus features:
– Audio commentary with the creative team
– Three behind-the-scenes featurettes:
– Guarding the Balance: Batman and the JLA
– Their Time Has Come: Cyborg and the DCU’s New Diversity
– A Legion of One: The Dwayne McDuffie Story
– 2 bonus animated TV episodes from Bruce Timm:
– Justice League Unlimited: “Wild Cards, Part 1”
– Justice League Unlimited: “Wild Cards, Part 2”
Justice League: Doom streets on February 28th, 2012.
Sounds cool. I am sure I will have to get it for Asher.
