If you are driving in Los Angeles today, you might notice some billboards and walls showcasing renderings of favorite Marvel comic book characters such as Hawkeye, Nick Fury, Captain America and The Hulk.
Each sign is emblazoned with the word “Assemble” letting comic book and art fans know about the upcoming show at Gallery 1988 in Los Angeles on May 3, 2012.
The pop culture art gallery will feature art inspired by the Marvel super heroes featured in the highly anticipated summer event movie, The Avengers.

So the web address and twitter address at the bottoms of the page is the actual Avenger movie links. That’s not very helpful if I want to know more about the art exhibit. Strange…

They will update it when the show gets closer and I’ll post more info as it becomes available

Thanks! It’ll be interesting to see what they do. The billboards are fun.
I always worry about copyright issues for interesting things like this. When is “fair use” and when is “you’re selling things with our images on it!”.
