After months of lying low following her fall throat surgery, Adele will have her own hour-long NBC special, to air next month. The program, “Adele Live in London with Matt Lauer,” will feature an exclusive interview and several performances from her “Adele Live At The Royal Albert Hall” DVD.
One of the biggest stars in the world, notoriously media-shy Adele has not only won eight Grammy Awards, but her latest album, 2011’s “21,” has sold 8,986,000 copies to date according to Nielsen SoundScan. The sophomore set has also spent 63 weeks on the Billboard 200, with 23 weeks at No. 1.
The NBC special will premiere on Sunday June 3rd at 8 PM.
