Lionsgate Home Entertainment will release a 15th Anniversary Edition Blu-ray of Good Will Hunting on August 21st. Directed by Gus Van Sant (Milk), Good Will Hunting tells the story of Will Hunting (Matt Damon, The Bourne Identity), a blue-collar janitor whose hidden mathematical brilliance forces him to choose between the rough South Boston community he grew up in and a new path of intellectual discovery.
Nominated for nine Oscars at the 1998 Academy Awards Ceremony (including Best Picture, Best Director, and Best Actor), the film netted two – one for Ben Affleck (The Town) and Damon’s original screenplay, and one for Robin Williams (Insomnia) as Will’s psychologist and mentor.
Lionsgate’s 15th Anniversary Edition Blu-ray presents the film in its original aspect ratio of 1.85:1 with a 5.1 DTS-HD Master Audio track. The disc also contains the following supplements:
