From The Makers of Angry Birds, Bad Piggies Now Available To Download

Bad Piggies, a sequel to Angry Birds starring the game’s green pigs, was released today on iOS, Android, and Mac.

Bad Piggies does away with the franchise’s familiar slingshot used to launch birds in favor of all-new mechanics.

“There’s a lot of empathy towards the lovable enemies from the Angry Birds games, and we’ve been constantly asked: what about the pigs’ side of the story?” said Rovio CEO Mikael Hed said in a press release. “Bad Piggies gives you the chance to play as the second-most-loved characters in the Angry Birds universe, and explore this rich world through their green eyes.”

In Bad Piggies you’ll use blocks with various functions (an engine, a rotor, wheels, etc.) to build vehicles to “launch” your piggies. Of course there will be a variety of landscape challenges as your piggies must reach a goal with cargo intact.

Kevin Tong’s Jurassic Park Poster To Go On Sale Today

Kevin Tong’s Jurassic Park poster is a six color screen print on 24 x 36 inch 100 lb White Cover Paper. The posters are signed and numbered in an edition of 275. They cost $70 each ($7 US shipping, $12 Intl shipping) and are available for sale at Kevin’s online store at a random time on 9/27/12. Limit two per household.

According to the artist, “This isn’t really a movie poster so much as it’s a theme park poster from a movie universe. It’s from a version of the movie where nothing went wrong (no Dennis Nedry) and the park was successful. The main inspiration was when John Hammond compared Jurassic Park to Disneyland.”
