Sony Teams Up With Simon Cowell To Develop The X-Headphone

Simon Cowell and Sony got together to make a pair of headphones unlike anything you’ve seen (or heard) before.

Sony X-Headphones ($300) are precision crafted with premium materials. 50mm driver units and high-energy neodymium magnets allow for mind-blowing levels of audible bliss, while a tightly sealed acoustic design allows for higher levels of sound isolation, pumping more bump into every bass line.

The dual-folding compact design allows you to take your music to places it’s never been before. Cushy, pressure-relieving urethane foam makes for not only an outstanding fit, but also discourages annoying ambient noise. The 1.2 m flat cord has a serrated, tangle-reducing finish. A handy carrying case is included.

Go behind the scenes with Sony and Simon Cowell to see how the Sony X headphones (MDR-X10) were designed, created and built for the people that love music the most — the listeners.
