Oblivion Trailer

Before Watchmen: Moloch Variant Cover Preview By Olly Moss

Moloch is the mystical villain that played a major role in Alan Moore and Dave Gibbons’ Watchmen and now the character has his own prequel comic.

The two-part series, Before Watchmen: Moloch is written by J. Michael Straczynski (Before Watchmen: Nite Owl) and pencilled by Eduardo Risso (100 Bullets).

Olly Moss will illustrate the issue #2 variant cover due on December 19th. Here is a preview of the work in progress.



Starbucks Introduces Limited Edition $450 Metal Gift Card


Just in time for the holidays, Starbucks introduced a $450 gift card. The specially etched steel card loaded with $400 cost $50 to make. Starbucks only made only 5,000 of them.

The cards were exclusively sold via the luxury goods website, Gilt.com and sold out within seconds.

The card came with gold-level Starbucks card membership benefits, such as gifts and freebie refills on brewed coffee and tea.

Some limited-edition Starbucks cards have sold on eBay for thousands of dollars so the card could be quite collectible.

121212, A Concert For Sandy Relief at Madison Square Garden


121212 is a concert to be held on December 12, 2012 at New York City’s Madison Square Garden to benefit the Hurricane Sandy relief efforts through the Robin Hood Relief Fund.

The concert will feature the following musical artists: Bon Jovi, Eric Clapton, Dave Grohl, Billy Joel, Alicia Keys, Chris Martin, Bruce Springsteen & The E Street Band, Eddie Vedder, Roger Waters, Kanye West, The Who and Paul McCartney.

It will also be broadcast to over 1 billion people worldwide.
