Ain’t It Cool News recently reported that Disney-Pixar is considering making a new Mickey Mouse movie called “The Stooge,” which will be loosely based on the 1952 musical comedy, which starred Dean Martin and Jerry Lewis.
The musical buddy comedy would star Mickey in the Dean Martin role and Roger Rabbit in the Jerry Lewis role. The film will incorporate five specific locations from Disneyland and will introduce the Toon Train, an exciting way to travel through Toontown. The new movie will also include animated versions of such people as Orson Welles.
The studio is currently evaluating the material and speaking with writers and directors.
