DC fans have been hoping that the comic publisher would revive the team up of Batman and Superman in the New 52. The comic book series will be relaunched this June titled Batman/Superman. USA Today revealed that World War Hulk writer Greg Pak will pen the new series with The Inhumans artist Jae Lee drawing.
The title will differ from Justice League and other instances in the New 52 where the characters team up by focusing instead on the time these two characters met for the first time.
Batman/Superman marks Jae Lee and Pak’s first time working directly together — Lee had done covers for the 2005 Marvel miniseries Marvel Nemesis: The Imperfects, one of Pak’s earliest comics.
