Today, Palm Beach Illustrated posted a Q&A with Carrie Fisher and the actress was asked if she would reprise the role of Princess Leia in J.J. Abrams Star Wars Episode VII.
“Yes,” Fisher responded simply. Fisher, who was recently on the big screen in films like Fanboys and Sorority Row, had previously indicated that she’d be delighted to return as Leia. It has been heavily rumored that Harrison Ford and Mark Hamill will be back as well as Han Solo and Luke Skywalker, respectively.
Star Wars: Episode VII is currently scheduled to be released in 2015.
