The official Facebook page for ABC’s “Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.” has revealed a brief TV spot for the new television series, accompanied by an intriguing note regarding tomorrow night’s second episode, titled “0-8-4.”
“Be sure to stay until the end of the credits on Tuesday,” the post teases. “In true Marvel fashion, you never know what might happen.”
At the end of the video, the S.H.I.E.L.D. logo is shown wearing an eyepatch. Could the surprise be a cameo by Marvel Cinematic Universe superstar Samuel L. Jackson? We’ll have to wait until tomorrow night to be sure.
The episode follows Agent Phil Coulson and the agents as they travel to Peru to investigate a mysterious object. There, they run into Comandante Camilla Reyes.
The series stars Clark Gregg, reprising his role from Marvel’s feature films as he assembles a small, highly select group of Agents that also includes: Brett Dalton as Agent Grant Ward, Iain De Caestecker as Agent Leo Fitz, Elizabeth Henstridge as Agent Jemma Simmons, Ming-Na Wen as Agent Melinda May and Chloe Bennet as the mysterious computer hacker Skye.
