Han Solo’s DL-44 Blaster To Sell At Auction For An Estimated $300,000

The estimated auction price for Han Solo’s blaster from Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi is between $200,000 to $300,000.

Described as a “non-firing blaster”, the prop was cast in resin and modeled after the original Mauser C96-inspired blaster used in Star Wars, which is believed to be destroyed. According to the auction listing, this blaster is “exactly in its original filming condition and therefore exhibits wear from use,” including whatever damage it gathered from being yanked out of Han’s hand by Darth Vader in the middle of Cloud City.

Profiles in History, which is handling the December 21 auction, believes that this is the only Han Solo blaster prop outside of Lucasfilm’s collection.
