Comic Book Icons is a companion piece book from The Comic Book Icons exhibition that was held at the International Comic Book Festival in Brazil in November.
Charlie Adlard, Bill Sienkiewicz, Ryan Sook, Ivan Reis, Joe Prado, Rod Reis, Darwyn Cooke, Sean Murphy, Rafel Albuquerque, Dave Johnson, Scott McDaniel, Mike Deodato, Eduardo Risso, Renato Guedes, Phil Hester, Rafael Grampá, Alex Maleev and several other famed comic book artists have created original art pieces for the exhibition that appear in a deluxe hardcover book.
This passion project was created by the art rep and FIQ member Ivan Freitas da Costa and the book (with texts in English and Portuguese) is still available in 2 versions. The regular hardcover version without the slipcase costs $45 + shipping and the slipcased edition signed by 30 artists costs $140 + shipping.
