Bryan Cranston, the veteran actor and celebrated star of “Breaking Bad,” has agreed to write a memoir of his life and work, his publisher said on Thursday. The publisher, Scribner, an imprint of Simon & Schuster, said it would release the book in fall 2015.
In a statement, Mr. Cranston said he planned to “tell the stories of my life and reveal the secrets and lies that I lived with for six years shooting ‘Breaking Bad’.”
Nan Graham, the publisher of Scribner, said that Mr. Cranston “writes the way he acts — with fierce commitment, intelligence and humor.”
