Starting June 1, 2015 Olive Garden patrons will be able to order chicken parmigiana or meatball sandwiches made with their popular breadsticks.
“We’re always looking to evolve our menu,” explains Olive Garden spokeswoman Jessica Dinon. “We’re always bringing on new items, and right now we’re really taking those dishes our guests know and love and giving them more ways to enjoy it. Obviously people love our breadsticks.”
The sandwich breadsticks will be wider, to accommodate the filling. But other than that size change, the recipe and taste will stay the same, says Dinon. Diners will still receive an unlimited supply of breadsticks with their sandwiches, just as they do with any other selection on the menu, along with soup or salad.
