So you waited in line for hours only to miss out on that LEGO Comic-Con exclusive set and they are all sold out. You can either hunt one down on eBay and pay hundreds of dollars or choose the clever alternative, Constructibles.
Based in Orange County, California this family owned business locates the genuine LEGO pieces from hard to find sets, includes the building instructions and sells the boxed sets for an affordable price.
I discovered Constructibles at Bricks LA and found the owners to be helpful and friendly. The carry a wide array of retired LEGO sets, LEGO mini builds, reproduction Comic-Con exclusive sets and their own designs.
I ended up picking up a retired New York Comic-Con Star Wars Luke’s Landspeeder for $28 that would sell for over $100 online. I could care less that it didn’t include the official box or tin as I tend to never use or display them.
Other cool sets that Constructibles sells are the hard to find and very desirable Classic TV Batmobile, Rocket Raccoon’s Warbird and Boba Fett’s Slave 1.
