Kentucky Fried Chicken has announced its hotly anticipated new menu item, KFC Nashville Hot Chicken.
The famous Nashville Hot Chicken was originally created in Nashville, Tennessee. KFC’s new Nashville Hot Chicken has a one-of-a-kind flavor profile that is spicy and smoky but stays unbelievably crispy.
On Monday January 18, 2016 the fast-food giant KFC will start serving its version of hot chicken at all 4,300 U.S. locations.
It will be available in both Extra Crispy Chicken (breast, drum stick, thigh) and Tenders. Nashville Hot contains the perfect blend of spicy cayenne and smoky paprika and is crowned with pickle chips—the ideal sidekick. Special edition packaging has been designed for Nashville Hot that will allow guests to dip their biscuit in with KFC Nashville Hot’s extraordinary sauce for twice the delight. For individual meals, Nashville Hot will start at $5.49 for an Extra Crispy Chicken Drum & Thigh, 3 Piece Tenders basket, or 1 Piece Breast and comes with KFC’s famous coleslaw, pickles, and a biscuit. For group meals, Nashville Hot will be available in an 8-pc chicken Meal & 12-piece Tenders Meal which come with 2 large sides, pickles, and 4 biscuits. And for tailgating or watching sports if you want something way better than hot wings for your guests, Nashville Hot will be available in a 24-piece Tender Platter.
