Since his death in January, David Bowie has been honored as a singer, a songwriter, a live performer, a fashion icon, and an all-around pop culture great. But it makes sense that Comic-Con should pay tribute to his acting career and, in particular, his role as the Goblin King in the much-loved 1986 fantasy film, Labyrinth.
Starting at 10 a.m. PT on Friday, Comic-Con attendees will be able to pick up a commemorative, Bowie-featuring Labyrinth poster. Available at Comic-Con HQ LIVE, outside the Hilton Bayfront next to the Convention Center, the poster was designed by Tracie Ching and also features Bowie’s costar, Jennifer Connelly.
Comic-Con HQ, the premium digital network from Lionsgate and Comic-Con International, will broadcast live noon-5 p.m. each day of the convention, and is available on the web, iOS, Android, Amazon, and now Roku. Select segments will also be available via Facebook Live and Twitch.
