Gerald Winters And Sons Has 2 Rare Lettered Copies of Stephen King’s The Plant

The Plant was an original Stephen King story printed in letterpress on imported Italian Fabriano Ingres paper by the Stinehour Press of Lunenburg, Vermont, and published privately by Philtrum Press – Stephen King’s publishing house. It was created by trusted friend and designer – Michael Alpert.

200 signed and numbered copies were distributed among friends on the King family Christmas card list in 1982, 1983 and 1985. 26 Lettered copies (A – Z) were reserved for familial presentation. These were never offered for sale and is very rare. The Plant was never completed.
