Radio Flyer Debuts Luke Skywalker’s Landspeeder At San Diego Comic Con

Radio Flyer – maker of the iconic little red wagon – today unveiled Radio Flyer’s first-ever Luke Skywalker Landspeeder at San Diego Comic Con. This product allows kids to experience riding in the Landspeeder first depicted in Star Wars forty years ago.

The Landspeeder was designed with features mirroring that from the film, modeled after the sand-packed and sun-faded X-34 craft from Star Wars: A New Hope. It features scuff marks on the hood, a dashboard that lights up just like Luke Skywalker’s and R2-D2 sounds and lines from the movies.

It seats two people and is recommended for children ages four and older, with a maximum weight capacity of 130 pounds. The vehicle includes a 12 volt rechargeable battery that allows speeds up to 5 miles per hour.

Luke Skywalker’s Landspeeder will be available on ToysRUs.com and beginning September 1, the Landspeeder will be available in Toys ‘R’ Us stores.
