Focus Features has debuted the Won’t You Be My Neighbor? poster. Academy Award-winning filmmaker Morgan Neville (20 Feet from Stardom) directed the documentary, which is set to be released in select theaters on June 8, 2018.
Additionally, Focus Features will be launching the Won’t You Be My Neighbor? pop up at next week’s CinemaCon, beginning April 23rd, inside Caesar’s Palace by the Pisa Room in Las Vegas. Won’t You Be My Neighbor? takes an intimate look at America’s favorite neighbor: Mister Fred Rogers. First airing on February 19, 1968, Mister Rogers’ Neighborhood went on to run for over 31 seasons and 895 episodes. The series garnered 59 Daytime Emmy award nominations and four wins with Rogers being awarded a Lifetime achievement award in 1997.
