Disney Channel is racing toward summer, and we’ve just been given a sneak peek at the fantastic and fan-centric programming and events the network has planned—including brand-new episodes and special on-air offerings, a fan event set for the Disneyland Resort on May 12 and the Disney Channel GO! Road Trip that will make its way around the U.S. in July and August.
Disney Channel GO! Fan Fest
The fun begins on Saturday, May 12, at the Disneyland Resort, where dozens of Disney Channel stars will be on hand for the Disney Channel GO! Fan Fest. The festivities begin at 11:15 a.m. PDT with a cavalcade down Main Street, U.S.A. at Disneyland park, then the action moves across the esplanade to Disney California Adventure, where fans can enjoy panel discussions and meet some of their favorite stars from 1–5 p.m. PDT. It promises to be a duck blur of an afternoon, highlighted by a live DuckTales script performance—or “table read”—by members of the series voice cast. The celebrity lineup for the event includes stars from the Andi Mack, Raven’s Home, Stuck in the Middle, Bizaardvark and BUNK’D, as well as the Disney Channel Original Movies ZOMBIES and Freaky Friday.
