Netflix Unveils In The Tall Grass First Look For Stephen King, Joe Hill Adaptation

Netflix has offered a first look at their upcoming feature In the Tall Grass, adapted from the novella by Stephen King and his son Joe Hill.

When siblings Becky and Cal hear the cries of a young boy lost within a field of tall grass, they venture in to rescue him, only to become ensnared themselves by a sinister force that quickly disorients and separates them. Cut off from the world and unable to escape the field’s tightening grip, they soon discover that the only thing worse than getting lost is being found.

Golden Globe nominee Patrick Wilson (Fargo, Aquaman), Laysla De Oliveria (Covert Affairs, Code 8), and Harrison Gilbertson (Need for Speed, Picnic at Hanging Rock) star in the film along with Rachel Wilson, Will Buie Jr., Avery Whitted, and Tiffany Helm.

In the Tall Grass is written and directed by Vincenzo Natali (Cube, Hannibal, Splice). Steven Hoban produces with Jon Levin and Jimmy Miller serving as executive producers.

The movie will premiere on Netflix on October 4.
