Disneyland To End Annual Passholder Program

During this difficult time of COVID19, Disneyland Annual Passholders have been able to put their passes on pause, or receive a refund instead. However, today Disneyland shared some sad news that the park ending their Annual Passholder Program.

Disney is developing new membership options that will be announced at a later time.

In a statement, Ken Potrock, President of Disneyland Resort, said, “We want to thank our Annual Passholders for their understanding during this closure period. Due to the continued uncertainty of the pandemic and limitations around the reopening of our California theme parks, we will be issuing appropriate refunds for eligible Disneyland Resort Annual Passports and sunsetting the current program.  We are currently developing new membership offerings that will utilize consumer insights to deliver choice, flexibility and value for our biggest fans.”

Over the course of the next several days, Disney will begin processing refunds for eligible Disneyland Resort Annual Passports. Passholders who held active Passports as of March 14th, 2020 will still be able to receive applicable discounts on merchandise and food & beverages at select Downtown Disney District and Buena Vista Street locations up until new membership offerings are announced.

Additionally, from January 18th to February 25th, these eligible Passholders can receive 30% off on select merchandise at Downtown Disney District and Buena Vista Street from Mondays through Thursdays. More info HERE.

While Disneyland’s Annual Passport program will be coming to an end, Disney World’s will remain as is.
