Nope Poster Teases Jordan Peele’s Newest Horror Feature

Acclaimed writer-director Jordan Peele shared the first official poster for his highly-anticipated horror thriller movie which has now been confirmed to be titled as Nope. The poster highlights a dark cloud with a colorful kite string hovering on top of a mountain field.

Nope will be led by Oscar-winner Daniel Kaluuya, who is officially reuniting with Peele following the successful release of 2017’s Get Out. Joining him are Keke Palmer (Hustle), and Oscar nominee Steven Yeun (Minari), who is no stranger to the horror genre after previously starring in The Walking Dead.

The film is written and directed by Jordan Peele, who previously earned an Oscar for Best Original Screenplay for his directorial feature debut Get Out. Before the upcoming film, he had also directed 2019’s Us starring Lupita Nyong’o and Winston Duke.

Nope is a production by Monkeypaw Productions and Universal Pictures, with Peele and Ian Cooper attached as producers. The film is currently slated to arrive in theaters on July 22, 2022.
