Hawkeye To Premiere On Disney+ November 24

Marvel Studios has announced the premiere date for Disney+’s forthcoming MCU series Hawkeye, featuring the return of Jeremy Renner’s Clint Barton, and the introduction of Hailee Steinfeld as fan-favorite Marvel hero Kate Bishop. The series is officially slated to make its debut on Wednesday, November 24. In addition, the first official image from Hawkeye has also been revealed, providing us a new look at the MCU’s newest superhero duo.

In a recent interview with Entertainment Weekly, Renner has shared some new details about his new co-star’s character, revealing that Kate Bishop’s arrival will bring a whole new set of problems to the original Avenger.

“[Kate is] a 22-year-old kid and she’s a big Hawkeye fan,” Renner teased. “She has a wonderfully annoying and equally charming manner about her, because she’s such a fangirl of Hawkeye. The relationship grows from that, but the biggest problem for Clint is Kate Bishop and the onslaught of problems that she brings into his life.”

Hawkeye sees Jeremy Renner reprising his iconic role as Clint Barton, with the story also set to introduce his fan-favorite protégé Kate Bishop, who in the comic is also a member of the Young Avengers. The character will be portrayed by Oscar nominee Hailee Steinfeld.

Due to previously released set photos, it has been seemingly confirmed that the series will be set two years after Avengers: Endgame and is being heavily speculated that it would finally be adapting one of Hawkeye’s prominent storylines from the comics, where Clint loses his hearing.

The series will also feature MCU newcomers including Vera Farmiga, Fra Fee, Alaqua Cox, Tony Dalton, Zahn McClarnon, and Brian d’Arcy James. Oscar nominee Florence Pugh, who recently made her debut as Yelena Belova in Black Widow, is reportedly set to appear in the series.

Hawkeye hails from head writer Jonathan Igla, with Amber Finlayson and Katie Ellwood, aka Bert and Bertie, and Rhys Thomas.
